What makes it fun

All of our horseback trail rides are personally guided and scheduled in advance. The duration of the trail ride is around 2 hours, which allows for a brief introductory lesson to ensure that all participants feel at ease while riding their horses on the trail ride. Join us for a memorable experience, perfect for celebrating a birthday, anniversary, a romantic evening, or simply to enjoy a special occasion. After most of the nearby trail riding places were full or not responsive, we reached out to Bit n Bridle. They were very responsive, accommodating, and well-priced. The fact that you always get a private ride without paying extra was top notch. Haven't been on a horse in a decade and they run you through every single thing you could possibly ever need to know. You get to bond with your horse before the session too which was completely amazing. My horse and I were paired perfectly and now I'm in love 😍 great owners, very knowledgeable and super friendly, easy to get along with. We will 100% be back whenever we visit nearby.

Uncle Timmy was the best! We enjoyed our private trail ride with Jewel & Romeo. I loved the initial trust exercise he had us do with the horses before we got saddled up and mounted. Everything about this experience was truly magical and beautiful. Definitely an A+ experience in my book!P.S he’s a great photographer!We cannot wait to return again, we truly felt at home 🤍P.P.S the views are gorgeous ✨

Such a great experience! Vanessa and Tim were fantastic in every way from their instructions to ride it was a genuine experience. We were new to riding and they made us feel comfortable and confident. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend visiting next time you’re in town.

My husband and I took a ride for our honeymoon. Vanessa and Timmy were wonderful. They helped us get familiar with the horses before the ride, their instructions were wonderful, and the property is stunning. They take amazing care of their horses. I highly recommend this place for a fun activity.

I found myself in Fredericksburg this past July and wanted to go horseback riding across the Texas Hill Country. It was a spontaneous trip, and I made last-minute arrangements the afternoon before with Vanessa. To say Bit & Bridle exceeded my expectations would be an understatement. Vanessa and Tim welcomed me to their ranch and created a comfortable environment where I felt at home and had a fabulous time during my private solo ride. They created lasting positive memories, I can not recommend Bit & Bridle enough.

It was so amazing! Timmy and Vanessa were amazing! At the beginning, we were taught how to steer and stop. Then we went all over the property riding and listening to a few stories and jokes! They point out multiple different wildlife and took a lot of photos for us while riding. Lucky, the horse i was on was so amazing and kind and gentle! I am so happy to come and am definitely going to visit again

We can’t say enough about our experience! It was absolutely awesome. Timmy and Vanessa were so welcoming and informative, they made us feel so comfortable with introducing us to our horses. Our family had the best experience! Timmy and Vanessa were fantastic and made it so fun for us! The property is beautiful and the horses were so sweet. We will absolutely go back. The website mentions that when you enter the gate you’re family and that is absolutely true.

We had a fantastic time on the roughly two hour trail ride. Tim and Vanessa are great trail hosts and take their time to explain everything and train you to make sure you are comfortable on the horse before going on the ride. Their horses are extremely well trained and easy to ride and control. We intend to do it again. I highly recommend using them for a great, safe experience!

We are spending a week in Fredericksburg, and decided at the last minute to go horseback riding. Vanessa at Bit and Bridle found us a time slot and the experience was fantastic! (Other places we contacted were rude and not willing to assist.)Our guidesVanessa and Tim took their time to educate us on how to properly mount and ride our horses.The ride was over two hours and well with it!!The horses, Star, Romeo and Jewel are majestic and so sweet.Highly recommended for all ages!
