The Yellow Door is an arts and crafts haven. The Yellow Door provides a wide range of artistic training for guests of various skill levels and experience. At The Yellow Door Studio, you can attend an Art & Vino class with your significant other while enjoying a bottle of wine. Y'all can participate in one of their expert courses, or simply come in during open studio hours on Thursdays through Sundays. Get artsy with your sweetheart and make more than just memories together.

Silversmithing class was fantastic. Summer is a great instructor, and made the whole experience so fun and enjoyable. Highly recommend and would love to do it again.

Camilla was amazingly accommodating! We came from out of town for our daughter’s birthday. We scheduled to meet on Saturday during open studio. Unfortunately-an employee didn’t show up for work so we’re left disappointed-but reaching out to the owner, she apologized and even opened the studio on a closed business day! We were able to make pottery and paint it! She was so helpful and enthusiastic! We had a great time! We will definitely be back should we find ourselves in Fredericksburg again!

11/4/23 enjoyed a great lesson on painting wine glasses from Karrie. It was part of our girls weekend in Fredericksburg. Even though it was a first time painting project for the 4 of us, she was very patient and helped us along. we each went home with a pretty wine glass & had a great time. We will be back next year👏

We had the most fun experience while pottery painting at The Yellow Door’s Next Door studio! Houston was so helpful and kind. There were tons of cute pottery options to paint and the pricing was very fair. This is a must-do in Fredericksburg if you’ve got a creative streak!

We have done summer camp, private kids and private couples party. Quick to communicate, easy to book, super flexible and accommodating. So thankful to have this gem in our sweet small town. Will be back for sure.

Super fun pottery painting! We walked in as a group of 4 on a Saturday morning and we're immediately greeted. The lovely owner clearly explained the process and what to expect as we selected our pieces to paint. I highly recommend this activity if you're looking to feel creative. Little ones are also welcomed and well attended to.

This class was so much fun. The proprietor is very friendly and helpful, and skilled at painting. You can bring your own alcohol and you're encouraged to paint with whatever color palette you please. The 2 hours simply flew by. Definitely do this class if you are a beginner, or even an intermediate painter.
