With deep Texas roots, Texas Heritage Vineyard owners make wines from grapes that flourish in our culture and climate. Billy and Susan Johnson created Texas Heritage Vineyard, a family-owned winery celebrating Texas. That ideal was realized with a stunning estate vineyard, modern winery, and elegant tasting room that visitors love. The Johnsons planted their first grapevines in 2015 . The estate vineyard currently comprises 12.5 acres of Alicante Bouschet, Malbec, Tempranillo, Souzao, Tannat, and Viognier. At the tasting room, our guests are treated like family by a world-class team and entertained by amazing Texas musicians. Enjoy our award-winning wines, live music, and more.

Exactly what the other reviews say, very nice place and Leti was amazing and fun!

The 2023 estate Viognier is amazing!!!! Butter scotch at the end, we had to buy a bottle!

Must stop in Fred!

Had a great time trying their various wines all made in Texas! Great vibes and friendly and knowledgeable staff. The locals came piling in around four, so you know this is a great spot!

One of my favorite wineries! The staff is always upbeat and friendly, the wines are great, and Friday and Sunday they have live music. They have great areas to sit indoors or on the deck outdoors. Some of the best red wines, and they have won multiple awards!

The atmosphere was a great vibe. The Staff was very friendly and very knowledgable about their wines. That morning they had just hand picked their grapes for their wines. They shared the grapes with us and they were delicious. I really like white over red but I bought a red and loved it! They also have all their awards displayed for their wines. Alot of gold metals! This winery is well worth the visit. I will be back.

I came here for my bachelorette, this was my first time in Fredericksburg and the first venue we visited. Let me say, they exceeded my expectations. Everyone we talked to was so kind and extremely knowledgeable. They made my group and I feel so special and made my experience one to remember! The wine was exceptional, i have never been a fan of red wine, until now! I bought 2 reds here! They were smooth delicious and unique in flavor. I highly recommend tasting Old 300, Souzao (my favorite) and time traveler (white wine). I highly recommend visiting this venue, you will not regret it! I will definitely continue to come here when I visit Fredericksburg!

The best winery we went to out of all the wineries. Compares to noisy water wineries. If you can do a wine tasting from the gentleman at the cider bar he was truly the best and very passionate about what he does!

First of all, their Cherry Sangria is amazing! Such a cute and beautiful place and their prices are great too! Also, I bought a shirt from them, accidentally left it outside in the bag and got on a shuttle to the next winery and realized hours later I forgot my shirt there. Thankfully, someone turned it in and when I called to ask about it they said they had it and would hold onto it, only for me to say I wasn’t going to be able to get a shuttle to bring me back by there before they closed so the owner had her husband bring it to my hotel and I was able to get it back!!! Such SWEET people! I will definitely be back and will tell everyone I know to come and support this winery! Thank you Texas heritage vineyard for your kindness!

My wife and I had a great time at Texas Heritage Vineyard! We especially loved that they are pet friendly inside their tasting room so we were able to have our dog with us during the tasting.

Collin was friendly, extremely knowledgeable about the wines we were tasting, and made our experience unforgettable. We will definitely be back next time we're in Fredericksburg.

The service here is excellent and the patrons are equally as friendly—love the Texas hospitality. The wines are 100% Texas grown and are pretty good! The sangria was served nice and cold and was very refreshing on a hot day. Our only complaint was the stoppers on the bottles during the tasting. It comes across as little too cheap and greedy. Haha! Probably best to just train your staff to eyeball it as precisely as possible. Thanks for being dog friendly!

We have ALWAYS had a wonderful time here. We love that they are dog and kid friendly even inside the tasting room! Their wines were great as well, and we appreciate the focus on truly Texan wines. Marti our server was fantastic, and the place had great atmosphere. We didn’t appreciate that they use those measured pourers, as we find them so transactional rather than welcoming. But other than that, we loved our visit!

Beautiful location and wonderful wine tasting experience! Collin was so friendly and hospital and very knowledgeable about the wines we tasted. $20 for 5 wine tastes and we even got a bonus tasting too! All wines were delicious and the patio environment was just heavenly. This place won’t disappoint you!
