What makes it fun

Sauceda Cellars is a boutique wine tasting room that's located at the historic Crockett Haus. The tasting room highlights wines inspired by Texas Hill Country and the legacy of the historic Sauceda Ranch, with flights featuring three or four wines and options ranging from reds and whites to sparkling selections. The historic setting and relaxed atmosphere add plenty of charm to the experience. Reservations are encouraged for the wine tastings but walk-ins are also welcome.

Sauceda Cellars was hands down one of the highlights of our Fredericksburg trip! The wine was exceptional, and every pour was thoughtfully explained by the staff, making the tasting both fun and educational. The atmosphere is beautiful, relaxed, and welcoming—perfect whether you’re a wine enthusiast or just looking for a great experience. You can tell they truly care about quality and hospitality. We never felt rushed and loved learning about the history behind the winery. If you’re visiting Fredericksburg, Sauceda Cellars is an absolute must-stop. We’ll definitely be back! 🍷

Just a wonderful experience! We walked in off the street after seeing their sign and had a fantastic tasting with 5 of my friends! We had such a great time in their apothecary room! All of the staff / owners were wonderful and very excited to talk about their wine! I would 100% be back and I’d recommend stopping by!

If you are taking a trip to Fredericksburg this a must stop for the perfect wine tasting. We had such an amazing experience. The charcuterie was so delicious and the wine!! My goodness! It’s away from general foot traffic so the ambiance is so relaxing but still close enough to be walking distance from main street. 10/10 Recommend!

Had a wonderful afternoon wine tasting with a charcuterie board. The owners are lovely, hospitable, so knowledgeable and passionate—we had a lovely conversation with them about their family history and how their winery came into existence. The ambiance was wonderful and personable. Wine tastings were brilliant and charcuterie was so perfectly balanced. I would HIGHLY recommend!

We visited Sauceda Cellars today and it was an AMAZING experience !! The owners Ed & Robin have a historical stake in Fredericksburg dating all the way back to the 1800’s. We were given a VIP tour of the property and a great history lesson in the old days, including fascinating details about the architectural structure of the 200+ year old buildings. The atmosphere is cozy and makes you feel like you belong. Of course the wine is unbelievable as well. It’s a MUST see if you’re in the area. Check it out!! 🤩
