What makes it fun
The most prominent park in all of Fredericksburg is located smack dab in the middle of town. This park encompasses on all sides one of the most treasured and admired landmarks in the city, which is known as the Vereins Kirche. Both Fredericksburg's initial church and first school were housed in the same building, which had an octagonal plan and eight sides. During the winter months, you may go ice skating at the Marktplatz, which also plays host to many events and performances. The Marktplatz is a place for people to congregate, and it also features a playground and locations for picnics.
