Tried to eat lunch and grab some wine here with a group of 5 and was immediately turned away fairly coldly due to not “being members”. I can appreciate a wine membership but turning away potential customers on a Friday when it’s slow and trying to upsell us tastings only is absurd.

Members are not treated like members... The lady working really tried to push more and more wine when we were waiting for our allocation. I understand, but I joined to be a member, can I please enjoy being a member without being pushed to buy more when I haven't even received my first allocation. She also seemed very upset and became very short with us once we said we are not going to add more wine to allocation.

We loved visiting Kuhlman Estate! It was so relaxing and intimate. Eve, our tasting ambassador, was fantastic and knowledgeable in both the wines and their pairings. She also explained the benefits of the membership without making us feel pressured. The food was incredible I can’t recommend the paired tasting enough. We will definitely be back!

K Estate is a beautiful winery and a great addition to the Grape Creek family. The property is well done, with a relaxed atmosphere and great views that make it easy to spend an afternoon there. We really enjoyed the wine, and the snacks were a nice complement to the tasting. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and everything felt polished without being pretentious. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Fredericksburg.

We had the Summer Rosé Flight tasting with Eve and it was a wonderful experience. The property is beautiful and sophisticated. The rosé tasting (and wine club) combines wines of several of their properties which is a fun twist.

Very good winery in the French style, solidly emphasizing local varietals and what works best for this area. Knowledgeable and very friendly and helpful staff, and very good wines. Did the pairing tasting, good work at pairing, as well as with the small bites served.

The best of red blends hands down. The staff is warm and friendly and very knowledgeable. The vineyard is breathtaking even when the vines are dormant. A must visit if you’re visiting the area. Joining their club was a must for me because I can’t imagine my inventory without one of their red blends. Cheers!!!

Did a tasting here today with Michael and it was wonderful! It was just our foursome so we had extra attention, which was great since this was my first ever wine tasting. The wines and pairings were delicious, and I learned so much about grapes and the wine-making process. Michael was funny and engaging and very knowledgeable about the vineyard and other local vineyards. Don’t miss out on the almonds, either!

Place was just great. The staff was welcoming and warm, treated our kiddos nicely. Wine was delicious, we took the “mix” tasting and got to fast 5 generous samples. Our favorite was a red wine that was served cold (Gibson maybe?). Great place

What a beautiful winery. My husband and I had reserved a picnic table outside to have lunch but the weather was cold and misty, so we dined inside. To our advantage though. We were treated to a wonderful personalized tasting service with Danielle. There wasn't a wine in our tasting selection that was average or meh. Everything was complex, had depth and balance and wish we could have tasted more, but this was our first winery of the day. We both liked: 2021 Kuhlmanation Estate White, Calcaria, Hensell Rose, 2019 Zinfandel Both loved: 2017 Gypsum, 2019 Alluve, 2018 Barranca. 2019 Alluve, 2021 Kuhlmanation Rose, 2017 Marl Thank you for such a wonderful experience. Will definitely be back.
