What makes it fun

We enjoy making new connections at Hye Meadow! Whether you're interested in sampling our wines, savoring a bottle in our beautiful meadow, or paying a visit to Mama and Heidi (our sweet donkeys), we offer a delightful experience for all. Our wine tasting features a selection of 5 of our finest wines. The tasting fee is $25 per person and will be reimbursed upon purchasing 3 bottles. Reservations are required for those interested in experiencing paired tastings. Are you prepared to elevate your Texas Hill Country wine experience? Hye Meadow Winery tours provide a valuable chance to gain insight into the process of transforming grapes into a delightful glass of wine.

So this was my first time here and since I was with friends who have been in the area they recommended we try Hye Meadow Winery. It was late afternoon on a Sunday and I couldn’t have been happier. I tried their wine tasting and our server was so informative and friendly she knew everything. I loved tasting their wine under the large covered patio out back. There was a party on the patio nearby and they looked like they were having a great time just like we were having. It was such a relaxing afternoon I wish I could have stayed longer but we had to get back to San Antonio. I’ve been away from “home” for many years and was glad to find this new to me winery. Will be back.

This is by far the best winery on the 290 strip! The atmosphere is calm and beautiful as well as the wine is on point! Food is delicious and the staff is very heart warming and treats you like family!

Fantastic wines, loved the cabernet. The ladies serving are so friendly and fun. Plus we really enjoyed the air conditioning since it’s crazy hot. I definitely recommend them and I will return.

High-quality service and excellent Wines! If your doing the wine ting in Fredericksburg- don't miss this place! The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. They offer food here that is perfect for pairing with their wines, which are top-notch! Not sure what to order, the staff is super friendly and energetic! Tim was our server on this visit and he has it down! He is very passionate and knowledgeable about wine and you'll enjoy his positive attitude! Looking forward to our next visit!
