We are a small group of close friends who decided to spend a long weekend hiking around Enchanted Rock and just chilling in the area. Have had some not-so-great experiences trying to find places to stay in Fredericksburg, so choosing these magical “treehouses” was a real find! Each house has its own style and feeling, however, all have lovely views of the hills and trees and is simple, yet somehow so very posh in a Texas way. Love the kitchens, bathroom, linens, porches - everything! We stayed in Blue Sage #6 & #10 - both were lovely. Looking forward to returning and trying out the others. Also, perfect location for us, 6 miles from Fredericksburg on one road, and just a few more the other direction to Enchanted Rock. Also very clean. Only recommendations would to include recycling and make it a Dark Sky designation location, as the light pollution from all of the outdoor lights dims the gorgeous starscape just a bit.

My husband and I and our four children booked Blue Sage No. 1 and No. 2 for a long weekend getaway. We used No. 1 as our "family" cabin and lodged at this cabin, and used the A-Frame No. 2 as our "special day" cabin. Both were absolutely PERFECT and absolutely immaculate upon entering. All of the details were so thoughtful. Clear instructions for wifi, etc, and an abundance of amenities, and a short 15 minute drive to the heart of Fredericksburg.
No. 1 was perfectly spacious for our family of six. The kids loved staying in the bunk room and the master suite upstairs was divine. The private little balcony was a nice touch for our evening wind-down after the kids were in bed.
No. 2 was so, so special. The views from the large windows were incredible. The property was quiet, serene and just gorgeous. The kids loved exploring the porch area under the stairs and swinging on the day bed swing. All six of us agreed - we didn't want to leave! Thank you HoneyTee for the amazing stay. It was so dreamy, beginning to end!

We stayed in the Live Oak for our 10 year anniversary and it was magical!

The owners maintain an extremely clean and beautiful place. They have excellent pest control so the bugs are minimal somehow.

They provide everything you need from coffee to bug spray, just bring your love for nature get ready to fall in love!

Had such a lovely time experiencing the tranquility of Texas Hill Countryside! Just outside of Fredericksburg, beautiful views, and such a cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend and we will be coming back again!

The cabins were lovely, a very quiet getaway. I won't return due to the $110 cleaning fee. A cost of doing business added to the cost of the cabin itself is a little excessive. As a nurse I would not tell a patient "I have your medication, but you are going to have to pay me a $50 fee to get it". I find it a little ridiculous. Perhaps if it were a refundable deposit, for those who don't clean up after themself. But all that needed to be done to the unit I stayed in was to change and replace linens.

My wife and I celebrated her birthday weekend here and had an amazing stay. The lodge was designed for relaxing; equipped with a record player, books, outdoor private bath tub, and unobstructed scenic views. What's more is we got to enjoy all of what Fredericksburg has to offer just minutes away: delicious German food, wineries, boutiques, and museums. We're definitely coming back.

Your mind starts to relax while driving to this place. Once you are in the house you feel like you want to be here and make it your home. You are one with nature but also have access to all the amenities.

The charging port for EVs is a plus. The best part of this trip was Bells (the neighborhood cat). The cat is friendly and welcoming.

A little slice of heaven nestled in Texas Hill Country. We stayed in the Live Oak treehouse - a whimsical cottage that wraps an old growth tree. A roll up garage in the living room brings the outside in to enjoy stunning views of hilly farmland seen through the trees. The outdoor bath is the ultimate luxury… as you splay out in the candle lit waters with the Texas stars twinkling on the horizon you can’t help but feel like you’re deep in the heart of the Lone Star State.

Staying here was absolutely magical! It was an amazing getaway super close to downtown Fredericksburg. The hosts were super kind as well. We will definitely come back.
