What a great experience!! We were seated in the “wine cellar”, absolutely gorgeous, by the way. The whole restaurant is. Aaron was our waiter and he did a fantastic job! He came around at the perfect time, wasn’t overly bearing. Loved that!! Started with wedge salads that were very good and ended with a New York strip for me and prime rib for my husband. The food and sides, baked potatoes and brussel sprouts, were excellent. We would definitely recommend and we’ll be back, when we’re in the area! Thanks Aaron for a great experience.

The Crossroads Saloon had the best prime rib I have ever had! The atmosphere was fine dining but a relaxed, saloon environment. Debi, our waitress, was incredible! She was perfectly attentive and was so fun! We were thankful to have such great service! I would highly recommend Crossroads for anyone that wants a finer dining experience that is laid back and relaxed!

Crossroads delivered one of the best dining experiences we've had in a long time. From the moment we walked in, the customer service was exceptional. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and made excellent recommendations that turned out to be spot on. The food was absolutely incredible. We enjoyed the prime rib, mac and cheese, risotto cakes, and lasagna, and every dish was packed with flavor and beautifully prepared. The bread alone was worth talking about, served warm and fresh with a perfect crust. The atmosphere added even more to the experience, with a classic Texas steakhouse feel, live music, and a welcoming energy that made us want to stay awhile. I did order an Old Fashioned, and while it wasn't quite what I was hoping for, it was a small detail in an otherwise fantastic evening. The food was the star of the show, and it absolutely delivered. If you're looking for great food, outstanding service, and a memorable dining experience in Fredericksburg, Crossroads is a must-visit. We will definitely be back the next time we're in town.

Very attentive staff!! Everytime we come we have a blast! I tell all my friends and family to make sure they stop in when they're on town!!! Can't give them enough recognition!!!! Beautiful and clean place with an amazing family friendly atmosphere 💕💕 and the food!!!!! Yummm!!! Pasta of the day.. Lemon Butter angel hair with shrimp was on my mind when I came in and the chef made me so happy!! Thank you!!!!

Had such a great evening. We were a party of 9 women, Gil got us a great table for dinner in the bar and then we stayed to watch the band. Fabulous service, we all had different entrees. Everything was amazing. Filets, ribeyes, the pork chops & a variety of apps.

This was an expensive meal, but worth every penny. The steak was incredible, the mushrooms were an excellent compliment. All the sides and apps were fantastic. Our server was so friendly and took great care of us.

Our party of eight made a reservation 2 weeks in advance. When we arrived they were not ready for us and told us we could wait at the bar next door. It was raunchy with people’s butt cheeks hanging out. This told me the restaurant is not a nice place. When we were seated, it was in a back room where we were ignored for quite some time. We had to ask who wa la our server and it appears no one had a clue. When a server came, she said she had lot been assigned to us but would take care of us. She took our drinks and orders which took a while. When we did get our food, my friend and her husband sis not get their plates and they asked, the server. AMA back and said they had run out of the ribeye and strip 2 hours ago. She came back later and then offered them the ribeye she was going to take home and also to comp them a plate of what they chose. Later my friend was charged for the plate. To make a long story short, the food was average, not anything wow. I would not go back. I did not like the atmosphere or service. I would not go back again. You would think the manager or someone would make an appearance but nope.

Came with a large group (made reservations in advance) and everything was wonderful. Had a variety of food preferences and everyone enjoyed their orders. Loved the bread and honey butter! Prime rib was fantastic and a HUGE cut of meat. Brussel sprouts and risotto were also wonderful. Would have been nice if there had been a vegetarian option on the menu that WASNT just a salad, but I understand that's to be expected from a steakhouse. Would definitely come again, especially for a celebratory meal!

By far some of the best seafood I have had. The fresh grouper was cooked to perfection and my fiancé‘s halibut was delicious. Both served on a bird of risotto that I could eat every day. Can’t wait to come back. The dessert menu was one of the best I’ve seen in a long while eating all across Texas.

First of all, Crossroads has incredibly attentive and welcoming staff. You know you're deep in the heart of Texas when they bring a chair specifically for your cowboy hat. Bread and a selection of sweet or savory butter was delivered immediately. Our orders were taken and food was delivered in a timely manner. I had the crusted halibut, which could have had more bacon sauce but was still delicious. The risotto was some of the best I've ever had--so cheesy! My husband said the prime rib was tender. The cooked spinach was sautéed in butter. Everything was delicious. After dinner, we went into the bar where there was a dance floor and live music. The perfect evening!

Crossroads Steakhouse steak was awesome! We also had the shrimp n grits, cheese curds, don’t forget the bananas foster dessert! Drinks were great and the live band in the saloon was very entertaining!❤️

Had to wait 2 hours. Food was not bad, cool little place EXCEPT. a cricket ended up in my WATER. Then when we told the waiter, he acted like it wasn’t a big deal, went and got us two new waters, but no manager, no “I’m so sorry.” - NOTHING. I understand stuff happens but at least say something about it!

More like 3.5 stars. So, I’m not sure they know what they want to be. The Saloon noise was pretty loud and brought down the atmosphere of the restaurant. On top of that, the price point didn’t match the vibe. I’m paying for some fine dining Steakhouse, don’t rush the meals. Let me sit and enjoy. We had two drinks, an appetizer, and two main entrees and were done in 40 minutes. It should’ve been at least twice as long. I will say the seared scallops were delicious, but my wife’s steak was medium rare when she asked for medium and her side of mashed potatoes was barely warm. Her drink sat empty for at least 8 walk-bys of the server. This was on a Sunday at 5:30pm and we had a reservation, but it wasn’t that busy yet. We were dressed nice because it was our anniversary, and it was odd to see people in t-shirts and flip flops. For the saloon- fine, but I guess I expected a little more, again considering the price point. Will we drop by on the next visit? Doubtful. We’d try the other steakhouse up the street that has a dress code.

There was a $10 cover charge per person, for our group, but it was worth it! Our large group was having a hard time getting in anywhere very fun this past weekend and we lucked out here. Plush Party Band was playing, hyping up the crowd, playing the best songs to get everyone having a great time. I'm so glad it was our last stop, I just wish we'd gotten there sooner in the night instead of wasting time most other places.

We arrived and were placed in a small table next to wall along high traffic. Sat there for 30 minutes and no server visited us. I waived a busser to get us water which he did and then disappeared. After another 10 minutes we got up and left. As we excited the main dining room, a manager or assistant manager sitting at the door and talking with staff. As we passed by he said, "hope to see you again" which I replied, "doubtful, no one came to our table and we waited 30 minutes before a busboy got us water." He smirked and said, "okay, have a nice night". Well, too bad for him, we won't be back and we will be sure to tell others it's not worth visiting. From what I observed, the place caters to tourist so they jack up the prices and give poor service. Our time sitting there, we observed what others were eating and looked at the prices on the menu that the hostess left on the table she showed us.

Nice vibe like a charming steakhouse and after 9pm there is a saloon off to the side with live music. I had an oven baked chicken. It was tasty and filling. The staff was attentive and very friendly.

This was quite a find,the atmosphere, service, and food were amazing. Our server Madison was on top of everything. The prime rib was the best I have had. The rainbow trout was excellent. Although there was a 20 minute wait for peach pie as it was made fresh from scratch, it was definitely worth the wait. 5 stars all around.

The steaks were delicious along with the quail. It wasn’t the best steak of my life but it was tasty. The drinks were good and it’s a cute atmosphere.

This is a great spot!! Reservations were completely booked, but we hung out in the bar waiting for a table. Great band, great service in the saloon area. Dinner was excellent. We both had steaks cooked to perfection. Our server for dinner was very friendly and attentive. Will definitely make this a regular stop when we come up for the wknd.
