Unique find in the heart of Fredericksberg!!
Mediterrian fare served with a story that stirs up a great culinary experience centered around platters and bites.

We got the vegetarian dishes and also tried the Shakshouka (with eggs).

The chocolate babka for dessert was unmatched and exquisitely delicious.

They also had freshly squeezed orange juice - loved that so much that we ordered twice!!

Overall, a great lunch - fresh ingredients paired flavorfully ✨👏🏻🌸

Wow. Fredericksburg has an excellent Mediterranean restaurant! The halibut was amazing and the grilled cauliflower was great. But don’t miss the shareable plates… humus, meatballs and the salads.
Finally the French press coffee and the latte were the best in town. Thank you for a great meal

Absolutely unbelievable meal. I came here for the first time for dinner a year ago and have thought about it ever since. Now im back for lunch and it lived up to everything I remembered about it. Cozy atmosphere, kind staff (Andrea is an excellent waitress - thank you) and dishes full of flavor. Get the schnitzel, hummus w the works, lamb kebabs, and Laurie’s salad !

Ella was so sweet and engaging, which enhanced our overall experience. The First Sauce plate was a wonderful experience (no charge to customer). The hummus, homemade olives, falafels, lamb kebab, grape leaves doma, and soup of day was fantastic! My daughter told us about this place. We will return.

We had a great lunch here this afternoon, a local recommended that we check it out and it didn’t disappoint. As first time visitors, we were served a sauce plate with fresh bread and told a little bit about the history of the restaurant and the family that owns and runs it. What a great way to introduce us to your food! We were immediately charmed and the bread and several of the sauces were delicious. We decided on the lamb kabobs and a side of hummus and it was the perfect tapas lunch. Our server Johnny was the perfect level of attentive. The restaurant itself was very clean and everything was presented well. The restroom was clean and well stocked. The music was a little loud when we were there, it made chatting challenging. All in all we were thrilled. Thanks for a lovely lunch.

Simply, incredible! From the quaintness of the restaurant, to the ambiance, and most certainly the amazing food…we loved everything about our experience here. We happened upon it while checking out the Fredericksburg area wineries. And we were certainly glad we did.

We shared the (chicken) Schnitzel and the Charred Cauliflower & Cabbage Steaks, and accompanied that with Israeli Salad (note: it comes with the meal), Baba Ganoush and Labaneh…and one falafel, just to try it out ;-). Everything was delicious and flavorful, but the standouts were the cabbage and the schnitzel.

But…the star of the show was…the pita! Oh, wow, that pita! Some came with the complimentary sauces (all so tasty) that start your meal, but the whole pitas served with the entrees were warm and toasty…and some of the best we’ve ever had.

This gem of a restaurant is certainly worthy of a trip from anywhere, but definitely check it out while in Fredericksburg.

The Branzino Sea Bass was great, cooked perfectly, great seasoning and presentation. Israeli salad, hummus, fresh pita and sauces were tasty and clearly made fresh here at Cafe Dimona! We were very happy and glad we tried them!

This is a lovely spot owned and operated by a local family. The short rib cigars were fantastic. The pita was also a highlight. I look forward to visiting again for dinner and trying out some of their specials.

Excellent and very fresh. We are locals and this will be a nice change of pace for our town. The turkish coffee was delicious, with a touch of cardamom. (Located in the old Emma & Ollie house.)

Gorgeous interior and excellent service rounded out by one of the most delicious meals. We had fresh baked pita and challah bread, the cauliflower and cabbage entree as well as the hummus. Everything, including the side salads, were beautifully plated and tasted flavorful and fresh. The mint tea is a must try! I cannot wait to try their brunch!
