We had the Bean Soup to start, it was Between the Heavens. What a surprise… seriously the Best soup I’ve ever had in my life. Our entrees and dessert were also over the top. Virginia was our server, she also was amazing and made our dinner one to remember! We will be back with friends!

I’m very picky about my Italian food in America. This may be the best I’ve had outside of New York. WOW. Both my wife’s and my meals were fantastic and authentic. Pappardelle was pretty amazing.

Birthday dinner on a Friday night. Damien, our server was very attentive and full of recommendations for our group. All his recommendations are spot on and I was happy with my pork chop. The chicken dish was also spectacular. My friend who ordered the seafood pasta dish was delish! Yum

Our server was Alejandro and he was great! Very attentive and had great recommendation for our wine selection. For appetizer we had the roasted garlic & ricotta meatballs, and for entree I had the wild boar pasta bolognese and my husband had the bucatini. The meatballs were great but I thought it would come with a scope of homemade ricotta on the dish so I was a little disappointed there. The bolognese was good but needed a little more seasoning but the bucatini was amazing!! If we go back I will surely get the bucatini and try out the pizza they looked great too!

Lets get down to business. The thing about Fredericksburg is that the turn around is so fast. That most restaurants just serve sub par food at a market up price. A real shame. HOWEVER! Alla Campagna is a true kitchen restaurant with a menu that is in a class of its own. I had the Linguine Con Gamberi. My son had the Ragu Papardelle. Both were absolutely amazing, a true breath of fresh air for Main Street. You do have to have a reservation, however ask to sit on the patio... as long as it's open you'll have a table. You can sit at the bar, but don't bet on that. It's a small inside restaurant. The outside was a much better space and more family oriented for larger tables. I really enjoyed the dinner and the staff.. definitely a must on Main Street.

Food was amazing! Atmosphere was really cozy. Place is always busy so make sure to make a reservation to end up on a table if not, you will be like me… I had to eat at the bar but still had a great time! Service was on point. Will be back soon for sure!

Alla Campagna is amazing Italian! The food was very delicious, the atmosphere was perfect and the waitstaff was wonderful! We had the margarita pizza and added sausage as well as the tortellini, which it was evident that the shells were made in-house because they tasted so delicious. I didn’t even get to try them because my husband ate them all!We also had Peach Bellinis and thought they were great! The perfect amount of sweet, bubbly and barley tart. You won’t regret going here!
