We've stayed at Agarita Creek many times. That Hill Country and Pedernales are in my heart and soul. I nested in front of the fireplace in our 2-story cabin -- watched the deer out the front windows in the mornings, priceless.
Beverly took us around to feed the livestock. She & her husband showed us all the vineyards and restaurants to enjoy, best values.
It's a thrill to be a 10-minute ride to town and yet back out in the country to enjoy the sunset and friends in the firelight. We enjoyed cooking Dutchman's sausage (local butcher) -- ample kitchen for making meals.

We stay every year at Agarita Farms and love the cabins and the view of the Hill Country. There are beautiful sunsets from the cabin porch. The cabins have a lot of space and much more comfortable than a hotel. The breakfast is good, and the owners are friendly and attentive. We enjoy the tour of the farm and animals, and our daughter loves to feed the chickens and sheep. You feel like you have escaped to the country yet are very close to the main shopping and eating in Fredericksburg. It is the best of both worlds. We always leave relaxed and happy and look forward to our next stay.

Maybe the most uncomfortable bed we've ever slept on (chose the more expensive cabin) and the shower is tiny - am 6'4" and was barely able to turn around. Drive to Main Street is about 10 minutes from the property. The private drives leading to the property are quite rough and full of potholes, so consider this if driving your own vehicle. Also a dog on the property would come outside of our cabin and bark for hour(s) every night around 2-3am.

Great view, but would recommend a place closer & cheaper if you plan on spending a lot of time on Main. Poor value, given the amenities.

We had such a wonderful time during our stay at Agarita Creek Farms. Our cabin was just lovely. It had such a cozy, farm life energy and a beautiful view. I loved being able to wall around and see the farm animals and wildlife, especially the sweet little lambs. The owners were very hospitable. It's also less than 15 min from downtown, so it was easy to do a little shopping and enjoy the restaurants.

Worst costumer service ever! Owner is not personable at all. Very dry awnsers i got when i aksed a couple of questions. She made me feel like i was a waste of time for her.

We stayed at the Braeutigum Cabin. It was so charming, clean and comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. We also grilled outside. It’s on a sheep farm. There are sheep, chickens, dogs roaming around entire property. The kids loved it. We fed them and just enjoyed being around them; perfect social distance get a way. Beverly and Tom were so accommodating and answered all my questions/texts. We cannot wait to get back!

Really enjoyed our stay in the larger house. We had a group of 5 girls and nobody stepped on anybodys toes. Perfect set up for two couples retreat. The only thing is the design of the house makes upstairs noise a bit intense so pick the upstairs room if you're a light sleeper. Absolutely beautiful views and weather. Host was amazing brought us farm fresh eggs and firewood. Lots of animals around and decent hiking. Wish I brought my bike and will consider asking about horseback riding next time...which will hopefully be soon. May try to bring someone special to the smaller cabin.
