The Wine for the People tasting room invites you to visit for a wine tasting last approximately 90 minutes and take you for a tasting tour of the Wine for the People portfolio. Your wine tasting is led by a knowledgeable and friendly tasting room ambassador who will educate and entertain. Grab your wine-loving sweetheart and head to Wine for the People to enjoy some award-winning grape to glass, might fine, Texas wines.

My wife and I recently visited Wine For The People, which was previously the tasting room for Lost Draw Cellars. They certainly did not disappoint! We had the Rose of Cinsault and the Dolcetto – as well as Syrah from the High Plains – all excellent wines! The Syrah was the best of the 3 – very rich and delicious. We ordered the charcuterie board which was overflowing with fresh baked bread, dried fruits, tasty meats and savory cheeses – well worth the cost. They did keep some of the original décor such as the sliding door, but the redecoration was well done and extremely tasteful. And there’s plenty of room outdoors under shady trees. Walk-ins are Welcome! We highly recommend this comfy nook – Salute!

Amazing out-of-the-way wine tasting experience. We met the owner and she was awesome… Her story is very inspiring. Our wine tasting hostess Karen was excellent… Very knowledgeable about the wines as well as Fredericksburg.

Rae is making phenomenal wines with Texas grapes! We are in love with all the wines!! She is beautifully blending grapes such as Carignan, Dolcetto, Cinsault to name a few, and the results are spectacular! We are honored to have attended the ribbon cutting and see both new tasting rooms! Rae and Anne have done a magnificent job with what was once a rustic space and turned it to a bright contemporary welcoming experience. You’ll find one of the best hospitalities at WFTP!!

Excellent wine! We tried several whites, reds and rose and truly loved them all. Rae and Ann were excellent hosts. Very approachable. Bread and charcuterie boards were delish and had a great variety. Such a fun afternoon in TX wine country. Definitely check out Wine For the People.

Rae is my favorite winemaker in Texas! Not only does she have a deep understanding of the science, history, and art behind winemaking but she is genuine, kind and approachable. This is a place that welcomes everyone and the wine is absolutely outstanding. We also enjoyed the charcuterie board! Rae spent time making wine in both Napa and Portugal and it really shows! Both Rae and Anne really know how to create an atmosphere that caters to good wine, food and customer service. This place rocks!

Our favorite new spot in Fredericksburg!! All of their wines were amazing— like so amazing we all joined their wine club. The board was delicious and we loved the outside patio— lots of seating and shade. Most of all, the service was so phenomenal. Rae and Anne were SO kind, thorough, helpful, and wonderful to meet. We spent a few hours here and would gladly spend more. This is the new hot spot!! We can’t wait to come back.
