Margaret and Allan are the most accommodating venue owners I’ve met. We’ve visited their location several times over the past two years, and every time it is like walking in to family. They opened their space to us for our private event this weekend and took care of us through everything! I trusted them for everything, and I will 100% be coming back and I 100% encourage everyone to visit their beautiful property. The wine, the hosts, and the scenery are breath taking.

We had a wonderful visit to Westcave Cellars, including a tasting and vine to bottle tour. My husband enjoyed the beer flight and getting to meet the brewer, Porter. Margaret led our tour, and she was fantastic. We will be back!

We attended the 2024 eclipse here and loved it! We had a family reunion and everyone at Westcave was so helpful. Even when there were small mIsunderstandings they were very kind and helpful. Bathrooms were clean. Wine was delicious! We traveled all the way from Africa to be here and I would do it again!

Wow, I would give this place more stars if it was possible. My family of 13 came here to watch the solar eclipse in April 2024 and we had an AMAZING experience. Everyone was so kind and friendly, and the wine and beer were excellent. It was also my first time drinking Texas wine and I was very impressed. I see they even have a nice place to stay on the property, I would love to try that one day. Thanks for the great eclipse party!!

My dad and I wandered in and we were welcomed with such great hospitality. We had the best wine tasting and lovely conversation with Margaret and Allen. They are the heart of the operation, love what they do, and you can feel it. I learned how to properly smell the bouquet of wine. She said I had a good nose! Almost every glass my dad tried he said, "now this one is my favorite" and he meant it. Highly recommend dropping in.

2024 is our year to explore the wineries of Texas hill country. Westcave is our first one. It was couple of weeks back. Margaret was an absolute delight who helped us with everything at the Westcave. We were so trilled to see that they are a brewery too and you can flights of beer as well. That gave us so much of choices. They have good food options and Margaret is a great resource with the pairings recommendations. She also talked about each one of wine from the tasting series. Westcave have multiple tasting series starting from mixes of white and red to bold red ones.. so select the one that you want to experience. I loved the small setting and personable touch to the whole experience. So refreshingly different from the commercialized large ones. Margaret actually asked my husband to keep his cellphone aside, and think about the time when he first met me... what an absolute delight. I am surely going back.

We have been members for years! Along the way we’ve added and dropped many other wine memberships but continue to keep Westcave because Alan and Margaret are amazing! Margaret is an incredibly warm and knowledgeable host and Alan takes great care to make fabulous wine. Make time to stop in, you won’t be disappointed.

My wife and I heard wonderful things from another couple about Westcaves wine and beer selections and had to see for ourselves. We arrived shorty after opening on Sunday and was well greeted by Margaret. She was an absolute delight throughout our entire wine and beer tasting experience and would highly recommend anyone looking for true Texas made wine and beer to drop in.Plan on staying awhile because the drinks are amazing, the property and tasting room very comfortable and you're likely to meet alot of their members which you're sure to make immediate friends with.Pet friendly and they have a spacious overnight property with outdoor patio available for anyone looking for a short walk to the winery.Cheers!

Amazing spot! It’s not as big or well known, as many other spots, but it soon will be! Excellent wine & beer & great service! The owner greeted us & we discussed wine & the property; then the brewmaster brought out a flight of house beers & detailed each one, for us. Highly recommend checking them out & we certainly will be back, also to check out their rotating beer selection!

I brought a group of 8 out for the weekend to celebrate my birthday, and we did the cellar tour and tasting. Margaret sure knows her stuff, and we all had so much fun learning about her processes and tasting straight from the barrels at various stages of production. We are not new to wine, and each of us walked away with new knowledge. Their merlot is fantastic and should not be missed!
