My sister recently got married on the property. The entire weekend was spectacular. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for her and all of us guests. They arranged express check ins since out of town guests were arriving at different times throughout the 3 day event. The property was rustic and super cool with the animals milling around. The cabins were quaint for that special weekend getaway. John, the owner, was present on site the entire weekend to make sure things went as planned. I would highly recommend a stay at the County Inn Cottages.

Jeff & Amy & the team at the Lodge were amazing for our wedding!! We were so impressed by the reasonable price, transparency, & ease of communication provided. Not to mention it’s a GORGEOUS venue with a great indoor & outdoor area that was comfortable for all our guests! We loved being able to stay so close to the venue at the cabins (& everyone from our wedding who stayed in them also loved them), and it was fun to be able to spend the whole weekend staying with all of our closest friends & family. Overall, they go above & beyond to make sure everything is perfect & that you are a priority. Our other favorite thing was having the venue for the whole weekend- it makes a HUGE difference & is rare to find in a wedding venue. Thank y’all for helping make our wedding so perfect!!

they have on-site accommodations. That’ll sleep up to 100+ you can skeet shoot on-site. They have a swimming pool and a chapel that is heated or air-conditioned or you can make it open-air just one mile from Fredericksburg

Sister booked this venue for her wedding first problem was the bridesmaids cabin AC stopped working so we were moved to a different cabin, second issue is the day of the wedding they let another couple and their family tour the venue! (fully getting in our way)while we were doing finishing touches and getting ready. Mind you we had asked before the venue was booked if we could tour but were told no as there was an event. If you want table cloths for the round tables they provide, you have to rent them, if you want the string outdoor lights you have to rent them. This is not a cheap venue all these things should have been included.

Edit to the response: The “final walk through” lasted over 30 minutes inside the venue and were in the way. You were with some of them but had a few walking around without you. We thank you for a beautiful venue but this is a review and i’m entitled to write what happened as a warning to other people viewing this venue.

I cannot say enough good things about our experience with The Lodge. From the moment we got in contact with them to the wedding itself, they were friendly, helpful, clear, straight forward and everything was done with an extraordinary level of care and detail. The venue itself is beautiful, and the brand new chapel was a surprise that was only built after we actually booked! Both Jeff and Amy were excellent communicators and I believe what we got for the price was unparalleled. This was the only venue we ever looked at because it was everything we wanted- the main lodge, the chapel, the grounds and the cottages on the property- all gave us the wedding of our dreams! THANK YOU!

I have always loved coming here with my family. The cabins are so sweet and their placement off the beaten path is the peace I am looking for. The deer and cows are charming and excellent neighbors. Another important factor is the staff is absolutely wonderful. They are so accommodating and work very hard for you to have the best time. I would recommend this place to anyone.

The lodge was the perfect venue for “the best day ever”! It is simple, elegant and rustic all at the same time. No need to decorate if you so choose. The sound system is premier! Bridal and groom’s suites are perfect for the bridal party to get ready for the big day. Having the cabins available for family and guest to stay makes the weekend perfect! The cabins are comfortable, clean and well decorated. Everything was perfect for my daughter’s wedding weekend. Choosing this venue was the best decision! Amy and Jeff were quick to respond to questions and had the place in tip top shape. Look no further. This is the place!

We had our wedding at the Lodge in June and it was fantastic! Jeff and Amy, as well as the staff at the Inn in town were wonderful to work with, and even went above and beyond to help us re-fill some of the cabins when people had to cancel last minute due to COVID. It was so much fun to have almost all of our family and friends in one place for the wedding, and everyone loved the elk and wildlife. We had a small rehearsal dinner inside the venue, then had a welcome party with almost everyone who was invited to the wedding, complete with a mechanical bull. Saturday was gorgeous for an outdoor wedding, even in the sweltering Texas summer heat, and the reception inside. It was a wonderful venue that suited our needs perfectly!

Lovely rustic venue with charm. I shot a larger wedding at this venue (I think 250 guests) and everyone fit comfortably. Beautiful clean indoor hall and built in bar, full kitchen space, outdoor patio area and cocktail hour space.

I’ve shot here twice and it’s been a pleasure both times.

My wife and I couldn't recommend the Lodge at Country Inn Cottages enough. We knew right away when we toured that this was the venue we wanted based on our interaction with Jeff. What is unique about this venue is (1) you get access for 5 hours on Friday, the full day on Saturday, and for 3 hours on Sunday and (2) there are about 40 cottages on site for the vast majority of your guests to stay at with firepits and hot tubs. Everyone has mentioned since our Wedding Day how much fun the weekend was having everyone together around the firepit and being able to walk right up the hill to the cabins.

We both truly enjoyed working with Jeff and Amy Mazurek. They were extremely responsive and genuine. We had no complaints at all about the Lodge and we will be staying here for future anniversary weekends when we come back to Fredericksburg.
