We stayed 2 nights to be close to the wineries and Fredricksburg. What a great little hideaway with the feel of camping, but all the amenities of a hotel room. It was our first trip to Hill Country and could not have picked a better spot to stay! Highly recommend staying here and next time we will bring our dog and stay in one of the pet friendly containers!

Been taking road trips to the area for several years and drove past the property without ever knowing there were cabins there. The tiny house containers are set up exactly like you see in the pictures and are very well kept. They are just far enough off the road and up the rock-road hill to make it peaceful and very convenient to anything between Austin and Fredericksburg. Confirmation and check-in information came quickly, along with several tips on places to eat and things to do. Any concerns are addressed immediately by a very friendly and courteous staff. Really enjoyed our time there and will be back again.

We enjoyed renting several units for a family birthday party for our mother. The kids enjoyed the games and swings. We had a great time sitting and relaxing together after a busy day.

The Container Retreat was the perfect spot for my husbands 50th birthday weekend. We were close to Albert, Luchenback, Johnson City, Fredericksburg, and many wineries and breweries. Our container was small but cozy and had everything we needed for our “home base.” We will definitely be back!

I stayed in #3 and it was WONDERFUL. If you're coming to visit wine country, just stay here. Don't even question it....unless you've got a big family I suppose. The containers are small but have everything you need and the staff is SO helpful. I was having an issue with hot water and reached out about it. Heard back from them with a solution within minutes of my inquiry. Located near tons of wineries and within a quick driving distance to all the happening places. Bed was super comfortable, ac worked great, very clean, and just a cozy little spot. I will absolutely come back here and I'm sad to be leaving. Lovely place.

The container was very small (#9), but that was my fault for just assuming it was the size of one that we stayed in at another location. That being said, it was clean and comfortable and in a very peaceful location. I spent most of the day unplugged and reading on the swing. My husband slept in the hammock and enjoyed being away from the city very much. We will be back, but next time I'll be sure to book the larger one!

This place was a super nice getaway from the big city and the crowds! (Therefore, there isn’t a big neon sign letting you know that you’ve arrived). The location is only a short drive from the bars and wineries of Fredericksburg. It’s perfect for a couples weekend retreat like we did. We booked it last minute but was still able to reach the host at 10:30pm and book on Saturday night; they were a huge help. The place was clean, mattress was very comfortable, plenty of hot water (I personally prefer cold showers), and the A/C was breezy. It was extremely quiet and the view of the night sky was breathtaking! You can see the entire Milky Way and an entire carpet of stars across the sky. The only way it could have been better was to make the container with a glass ceiling. If you are a decent neighbor and don’t mind bending at the waist to clean up a bit after yourself (taking out the trash and putting your linens in a pile) you will love it here. 10/10 would stay again!

Absolutely GREAT place to stay! If you're looking for somewhere to escape and relax with a gentle and peaceful setting...this is the place to come. The container is very well kept and provides coziness. It offered all kinds of amenities, like shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower. There's complimentary ground coffee, water bottles in the fridge, SMART TV, and plenty of towels.

Not far from Fredericksburg and surrounded by the beautiful vineyards. Perfect setting for a couple or for someone needing to escape and decompress.
