What makes it fun

Founded in 1995, we produced our inaugural vintage in 1997. We exclusively use Texas grapes for all of our products. Experience the charm of our one-of-a-kind rammed earth tasting room and winery, where you can savor the exquisite flavors of our acclaimed wines. Our Tasting Room is just a mile east of Hwy 290/281, along the road to Pedernales State Park. Keep an eye out for our Lone Star metal gate entrance on the right. Our tasting room exudes a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with its granite countertops, scored cement floors, and rammed earth walls. We had fantastic tastings here. All wines were excellent, as Dusty guided us through pretty much the entire range. His knowledge about wine was very extensive, which was exactly what a bunch of wine nerds like ourselves were looking for. Absolutely recommend this place if you're in the neighborhood. I doubt you'll find better.

Way way way better than ALL the commercial fake vineyard wineries in the Hill County. They actually have vines that grow grapes that get made into wine onsite. And the other grapes are all Texas grown and most cousins of their vines. Super interesting. Very knowledgeable staff. Beautiful grounds, a hidden gem 💎 off the beaten glitch liming pass.

Went with my husband while driving through town. There was only one other person there when we got there and he was outside . The older man employee was inside and didn’t really give us any attention. We Went to do the tasting and he wasn’t even going off of the list. He just kept picking random wines because nothing was available. At one point he actually just went outside and started having a casual conversation with someone without even letting us know He was going anywhere or going to be back so we sat there waiting for 5 minutes for another sample. There was woman there. She was just putting up dishes & The older male employee had already been drinking, and he couldn’t remember which glass of wine he was drinking out of.. We have been to a lot of vineyards/ wineries in our life & have multiple memberships. This was by far the WORST experience we’ve ever had. It was more of an empty bar with horrible service.

Love this place. Great outdoor seating. Listening to the water fountain on a Sunday afternoon. Saturday's they have music. One of the only wineries where I tasted their wines and loved them all.

Everything about this winery is perfection. The wine, charc boards, live music - incredible. They take “dog friendly” to another level. Chloe - the absolute best dog ever. Mary - LOVELY. Everything and everyone was incredible and I highly recommend!

We stumbled on this location on our way home from Pedernales Falls State Park, and we are so glad we stopped! Mary and Vanessa were so nice and informative while we did our wine tasting. They are also dog friendly, so we were able to sit outside with our pup while enjoying the wine and scenery. I’d highly recommend this vineyard to any outdoor and wine lovers!

Beautiful winery with 30yr old vineyard. Owners are husband & wife who gave awesome education on how their wines are made. Their Moscato is smooth & light!
