Loved how quiet the location was, without sacrificing convenience to Fredericksburg

We loved our stay at Skye! We were with a group of 5 families and the cabins and RV sites were very close together so we could all hang out together, yet still be close to our own individual cabin/rv. The staff was AMAZING and super helpful throughout our stay! We are already planning on returning this summer!

Great experience stayed one night in the pods. It was a great stay quiet and the sky at night is amazing. The service was great and ut was a good price for the night. We will be returning. Thanks you

We cannot get enough of the amazing views, activities, amenities and service here!!! The amount of personal touches that are present and all of the things the amazing staff does to make sure the guests feel welcome and taken care of are so incredible. We have the absolute best experience every single time we visit. There is no shortage of things to do and see on the resort but also, it is a quick drive to town to spend the day and the come back to enjoy the most incredible sunsets and starry nights you will ever see. The Skye wine, in all types, is so delicious and a fabulous added bonus to any stay. Such a hidden gem that should be enjoyed by all!

The grounds are meticulously cared for and the facilities are always spotless.

The pool and hot tub are so perfectly situated in a way that you are able to take in the peace and quiet and also watch the wildlife in their natural habitat.

If you are into fitness, check out the pickleball courts or take a really great walk or run on pavement or trails while being one with nature and taking in some of the freshest air and most beautiful sites.

The lodge is stunning with floor to ceiling windows and many comfy seats to relax while reading a book, playing a board game or checking emails or enjoying a glass of Skye wine bottled on site!

So many amazing things to say about this beautiful place run by the kindest people. If you are in the area, this is the perfect and only place to stay!

Wow, what a genuine hidden jewel in the Hill Country a short ride from San Antonio. It’s amazing. On the corner of “High Tech & Nature Park”. The Service, the smiles, the Pool, the kiddie Pool, the Hot Tub, the “winegarita’s”, the Golf Carts, the Trails, the Cabins, the Nature Pods, High Speed WiFi, Full Washer/Dryer, Dishwasher, Coffee Maker, Netflix, Stars it is amazing. You will love it.

I have had an awful experience trying to get in contact with this resort. Over the past month, I have made constant calls trying to get a group rate but I have still yet been able to get a hold of Jennifer. I have been told that she always in meeting and never get a call back despite being told I would get a call back.

A very quiet peaceful place. The staff was nice, very helpful, ready to help and answer your questions. Very clean, well taken care of. One thing was that some of the lounge chairs by the pool area needed to be cleaned/dusted off of webs. But on a rating scale of 1-10 with 10 being a will visit back 100%. I give it a 10.

Absolutely love this resort. We stay at a lot of Rv resorts in Texas and this one takes the cake. Facilities are top notch, the pool and hot tub are amazing. If you like pickeball they have 6 lighted courts. The amount of wildlife you see at this place is incredible. Love the staff, they are super nice and very accommodating. The new wine they have from their vineyard is amazing. Can’t wait to go back and unwind.

Just had the pleasure of camping at SKYE and what a wonderful weekend it was. This resort is spotless, with friendly and attentive staff, spacious campsites, paved roads and LEVEL site pads. Even the owner came by and visited with us for a while. We walked the trails and enjoyed the wildlife with nearly 300 acres. Can't wait for his winery to open! Looking forward to going back soon.

We loved our stay at Skye Texas Hill Country Resort over Thanksgiving week. A perfect family getaway from beginning to end. Our brand new loft cabin had a fully equipped kitchen, plenty of bathroom products, the most comfortable, clean mattresses- even the twin loft beds! Our kids & dogs had a blast exploring the trails and seeing deer daily. The pickleball courts were a huge hit. After climbing Enchanted Rock, we loved soaking in the hot tub and making s’mores at our campfire. It’s a 15-17 min drive from downtown Fredericksburg, which is exactly what we wanted. A perfect mix of nature, comfort & family activities. Great communication from staff too. We can’t wait to go back!

Such a beautiful location! This place has an entry gate for extra security. Property is well kept and has all the accommodations you could imagine. The kitchen is fully equipped and stocked. We rented a golf cart so the kids had a blast exploring all the different trails. The owner put feed out by our cabin, so we got to see lots of deer and fawn. So much beautiful nature. Staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Dog friendly! Would definitely recommend!

We had such a wonderful time at Skye Texas! The grounds were clean and beautiful and the cabin was extremely comfortable. It is close enough to Fredericksburg to go for dinners or to winery’s but far enough out to enjoy the quiet at night time.

I was a-bit skeptical about the resort especially consider Fredericksburg which is pretty small town. However, this resort did NOT disappoint especially a weekend getaway for my 29th birthday. My family and I loved the loft cabins, the view and of course the pool! Staff were extremely helpful. But most of all when we arrived they had set up a play pen where my toddler could sleep in which made me so happy and grateful due to the fact he sleeps in a crib at home. The stress was definitely lifted from my shoulders knowing this was already set up and in place for my toddler. I would highly recommend this resort!

Exciting stay in a beautiful new cabin. The staff, especially Adam and Amanda, were extremely helpful in our preparations answering all our questions (yes pool towels are available, you don't have to bring linens or kitchen items - it's fully stocked with quality pots and pans, kitchen knives etc. complimentary coffee is provided with creamers and sugars, and yes, arrangements can be made for early arrival, even a bag of ice is at the ready in the freezer). We felt personally welcomed upon arrival and received a tour around the property by the owner himself! We appreciated learning the background of the property and the work that went into making the property as wonderful to visit as it is. The beds, including the pull out couch, are very comfortable. The pool area is lovely, especially with live music in the background. Sunset is amazing overlooking the vineyard. Rent the golf carts to explore! So many photo ops! The sights are gorgeous, the dark skies bright with stars, the air fresh and the deer and antelope really do play. If you're looking for quiet - you've found it. Perfectly located between Fredericksburg and Enchanted Rock, you won't run out of things to do!

This place is a beautiful hidden gem. Adam, Cassie, Danna, and the rest of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Perfect mid point between Fredericksburg and Enchanted Rock. Pet friendly, we all had a wonderful time with our dog.

We stayed at the regular cabin, the beds were comfortable, we had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathroom.

We'd love to come back and stay at the pods!

Highly recommend it for those looking for a mixture of nature and fun.

I just spent two nights in one of the cabins, which was fully equipped and in a spectacular location overlooking a lake with great privacy, all for 160 bucks a night. I rented one of the electric carts which allowed for exploration of the resort, lots of wildlife out there. Great pool and spa and while I don't play pickle ball the courts looked very inviting. Definitely a different type of experience and I would recommend without hesitation.
