The wife and I stopped in this place in downtown Johnson City after a visit to Pedernales Falls State Park (which could be another review). It was about 2 pm and we had heard good things about it but were unsuccessful in our last attempt at Christmas time with the wait being an hour and a half. This time we got right in and were seated and greeted immediately! The waitress could not have been nicer and since it was a hot day we ordered drinks. My “Screw loose blonde” beer was good. For the meal we chose the fried chicken plate and I had queso topping while the wife had caramelized pecans. Couldn’t have been better! The decor was interesting with the brewery visual behind the bar and all the stuff placed on shelves around the room. It was great! We want to take our grown Son there next.

Wonderful brewery in downtown Johnson City. Lots of inside seating great place to beat the heat. A lot of variety on tap, the IPA was great. They have a lunch menu until 3! The chicken fried chicken was flavorful and crispy some of the best I've had. Service was friendly and attentive. Great place to pop into if your walking around downtown.

We stopped in for a quick brunch on our drive from Fredericksburg towards home in Austin. Brunch available on a weekday is a weakness for us, i ordered the biscuits and gravy and fruit, my boyfriend got the smash burger, fries, and a caesar salad, and we both indulged in a warm mug (or three) of their delightful pecan coffee. Perfect meal after a long weekend, and the infectious positive energy of our lovely and helpful server, Lala, made is what would push this review to more than 5 stars if that were possible. Big thanks to the team here!

I usually don’t like leave comments but in this case…Ever been to a new place and someone tells you more about the place… nope not here 👎🏼Figured someone would be offering the award-winning beer, not even a word as we walked in, and being the only two people at the bar at the moment. Instead I get Poindexter and a mute girl who talk under their breath. Hint... still waiting for a response after saying…” hello, what’s good here” literally my opening line. Really would like to have really bought a shirt to help out the employee emergency fund but after that, nope didn’t bother.So thank you for great first time.

Love dining here. The owners are great, and the food and beer are awesome too. They close at 9pm on Friday, but, we walked in the door at 8:45, and no one gave us dirty looks, or tried to rush us to order. The staff here is so nice and helpful. Would highly recommend. Oh, and don't forget to buy yourself a fun t-shirt too!!

They brew some of the best beer I've had anywhere. Period. I love beer and I've been around (no less than 200 breweries all over the country). The best versions of styles I like. And if you LIKE food...it's good, too. 'Specially the chicken and waffles!

We visited PSB after a wonderful morning at the exotic animal safari. We were hot and thirsty and this was the perfectway to quench our needs. We enjoyed our brunch with beers, pecan chicken and waffles, burgers and breakfast pizza. Everything was perfect as was our waiter Max and his trainee.

We had the best time. The pretzel and fried okra are a must. Ask for Jason as a server. His service was amazing and he was such a cool guy! I wish we lived closer because this would absolutely be a regular stop for us!

We took a day trip to Johnson City to see the wildlife refuge and also check out Pecan Street Brewing.We'd heard great things about the food and beer and that advice was spot on. I got their GABF gold medal-winning rye lager and it was tasty. My fiance tried the saison and my buddy got the wet hopped session ipa which was hoppy and delicious.My fiance and I shared the Nashville hot chicken and the pretzel burger and my buddy got the pizza. The Nashville hot chicken stole the show! The grilled jalapeños added a nice spice and it was quite spicy. The service was great and the people were friendly.

Great spot! We’ve been before & love to come back when in J-City. **Stellar** service & delish food! Their pizza is truly fab! Chix sandwich was marinated & grilled yum, really good beer and great covered patio out back - love!

We stopped on a long trip, on our way home. I quickly ordered the pizza only to discover I had ordered it wrong. The manager and her people were all very happy to make it right. There was live music but we chose the quieter and very nice beer garden. They have fans and beautiful plants everywhere.The pizza was perfect. The crust was thin and fired to perfection.There was quite a line of people waiting to have a table. The locals seem to know this is the place to be. We will be back on purpose instead of a quick stop on a long trip.
