I booked our stay at Monarc Ranch for the April 8 eclipse, when we had a problem with our previous booking. We stayed for 2 nights for a family of 4 (including our 5 and 3 year old boys). Despite the cloudy weather affecting our eclipse viewing, everything about the lodging was outstanding. The cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed, including fresh baked biscuits, cinnamon rolls and a frittata in the fridge, and candy, s’mores ingredients etc. My kids loved the goodies in the cabin, as well as watching the kitty cats and cows in the ranch, and hanging around the sprawling property. And best of all was our host Monica. She was so hospitable and very helpful through out the stay with various needs that popped up (in addition to providing the goodies In the cabin), such as a bugspray that we didn’t pack, loaning an iPhone charge cable I had misplaced, and even filling up a leaky rental car tire the morning of our departure! It was a fantastic stay for us and would highly recommend this place.

Such a beautiful Ranch! We stayed at the Among the Pecans during the New Year's weekend and we had such a lovely time.
The cabin was so clean and loved all the features included, from the bathtub to the hot-tab. They even had a Christmas tree. The ranch is so quiet and close to Fredericksburg. The ranch itself is so beautiful and the view is amazing.
Loved the biscuits, the banana bread and the jam. So delicious!!! Also, something that really we appreciated is that the owner left a champaign in the refrigerator, because I mentioned that I was planning to propose to my girlfriend that weekend. This ranch will always be a special place for us!!!
Definitely we will be returning.

What an amazing place !! We stayed 3 nights at « among the texas stars » and absolutely loved it !
The cabin is beautiful and super clean, and the ranch is beautiful and quiet.
Monica is awesome, brought us homemade pastries everyday that were delicious !!
Highly recommended !

I cannot recommend Monarc Ranch enough! The cabins have everything you need for a cozy stay. The location is right off the beaten path which makes for a quiet and intimate setting. The private hot tub is very romantic. Monica’s homemade goodies just seal the deal. Wonderful place!

We have been coming to Monarc Ranch for 18 years and always have an amazing stay! We have been blessed to introduce Monarc to many friends and family over the years. We have had 5 generations visit with us over the years. Our latest addition to the family, our beloved 14 month old little miss CB, learning to walk and talk was so “moooved” by her visit to Monarc and the beautiful cattle, ranch, and wildlife, that she literally “moooed” her way home to Alabama. We have our reservations for this year already booked and looking forward to another fabulous and “mooving” experience.

Monarc B&B is a wonderful quiet place where you can connect with nature and your loved ones. Monica provided the best goodies, added some nice extras to the house, and was very respectful of our privacy. I would highly recommend it for those needing a break from the stress of life!

We had our wedding at the Monarc Ranch April 17th 2021.
It was perfect. The accommodations were wonderful, Monica helped me every step of the way with the decorations, helping us achieve a wonderful memory with family and friends. We stayed at one of the cabins they have right on the property, as a honeymoon suite and it couldn't of been more perfect. I highly recommend the Monarc Ranch for any event no matter his small or big.
