We invite you to come and explore our stunning estate property. Experience the delightful offerings of Michael Ros Winery with tastings, wine by the glass, or bottle sales. Our recently constructed tasting room is situated on a vast 38-acre property along the renowned Texas 290 Wine Trail. Our tasting room captures the essence of a European town square, featuring a circular shape and a central fountain that serves as the heart of the community. We aim to create a welcoming atmosphere where guests enjoy scenic views of grape vines, pecan trees, and perhaps even catch a glimpse of the Longhorns roaming the nearby property. Our building is surrounded by glass walls, allowing you to take in the beautiful Hill Country views as you indulge in our 100% Texas wine.

Randall was awesome in guiding us in the different kinds of wine. I got the Valentine’s Day special where they pair chocolate with wine and it was to die for!10/10 recommend Randall! He was very kind and knowledgeable.

No words for how outstanding our experience was here! During our stay in Fredericksburg we visited 5 wineries prior to Michael Ros, and we have been blown away by both the wines and the service of MR! The owners were phenomenal and spent a lot of time with us educating and chatting about their wines/production process/etc. it was wonderful.100% a must if you are looking for a memorable experience!

We had the pleasure of experiencing an "Elevated Tasting" at Michael Ros Winery in Fredericksburg, TX, and it was an absolute delight! Our family thoroughly enjoyed the tasting, which was wonderfully presented and provided fantastic insights into food pairings.The winery's location is conveniently close to Fredericksburg, making it an ideal spot to either start or end your tour of the area. The facility itself is stunning, featuring beautiful hand-crafted tables made by the owner from pecan trees harvested on the site—such a unique and personal touch!During our visit, we were treated to live music and had a long, engaging conversation with the owner. It was clear that great care and passion go into every aspect of Michael Ros Winery.We look forward to returning and highly recommend this gem to anyone visiting Fredericksburg. A truly exceptional experience!

Great wine, staff and tasting room! We’ve become members and hope to visit often. Food from Culinary Edge was delicious! Our wine guides, Greg and Diane, were very knowledgeable and made us feel welcomed. Rosann, one of the owners, stopped by to ensure we were having a good wine tasting experience and shared her vision for the winery with us. A very classy place with gracious staff. This is our new favorite winery in Fredericksburg. We’ll see you next time!

We had an awesome experience at Michael Ros winery. Staff greeted us at the walkway with a welcomed smile. Laurie our host was very knowledgeable about the wines and their history which highlighted the experience even more. The wines, red and white were excellent which topped off the amazing visit.Visit Michael Ros winery and enjoy their hospitality.

Enjoyed one of the nicest Tempranillo wines at this location which has a bit of a post-apocalyptic vibe and layout. One of the few wineries I’d return to in the area.

The ambiance at this winery is superb, but that would not mean much if the wines did not match...fortunately they do. For me and my wife, our favorites are the Tempranillo and Sangiovese (superb, with a smoother finish than most Texas wines), Viognier (not as heavy as Texas Rousanne/Marsannes) and their Sangiovese Rose (one of the best Roses I have come across in Texas Wines). Their Malbec has an exceptional fruit-forward touch...All in all, our favorite winery (and the only wine club we belong to right now - we like the fact that we are not forced into the choice of wines for the quarterly pickups - I like to pick and choose).

A beautiful atmosphere and delicious wines - I think the best Texas wines that are truly local wines that exist. A great wine club and I would recommend the the Sangiovese Rose!

I went to this winery on Ribbon Cutting day because my husband was broadcasting the event. The atmosphere was stunning. Upper level deck seating, ground level seating and of course indoor seating. This winery is filled with gorgeous tables, made by the owner, and comfortable furnishings. I had a wine tasting and the server was extremely knowledgeable of all the wines, the history of Texas vineyards saving the French vines a hundred years ago. I am a new Member of the Michael Ros Winery. The whites are dry and one particular white I fell in love with. All the reds were dry, each with their own distinct taste, and with a smooth finish. Can’t wait for their Cab and Dolcetto wines! I consider myself a wine enthusiast and have tried an abundance of wineries. These guys know what they are doing!

A great selection of local wines with the emphasis on red ones. The location is new and fresh, the views are gorgeous and the wine is absolutely tasty. Tempranillo was my favorite.

I generally don't visit "new" but heard good things about Michael Ros. First, the winery is beautiful and relaxing. The wines were delicious, especially the reds. Excellent on the palate and smooth end. As much as I tried to resist, I became a wine club member. I encourage you to try this up-and-coming winery.

Stumbled onto this brand new winery on a trip to Fredericksburg and I'm glad I did!Beautiful, comfortable tasting room with live music and lovely decor. We felt so welcomed by the staff. We did a tasting of various wines which were all quite good. Our host, Dianne, was informative and attentive and a true wine lover. If you are in the area, I highly recommend stopping by.
