Imagine a place where you don't have to go all the way to Africa to see giraffes and rhinos every morning when you wake up since it's located right next to a preserve where they live. Your day is just going to get better as you participate in special excursions to learn more about these amazing animals and how you can assist in ensuring their existence by actively contributing to conservation initiatives. At Longneck Manor, some of the most well-known animals native to the African savannah will play the role of animal ambassadors and storytellers. They will interact with guests in one-of-a-kind, personal encounters that will instill a deeper appreciation for these magnificent creatures as well as a desire to work toward ensuring their health and continued existence in the wild.

We visited for my rhino-loving wife's birthday. Barney was a gentleman and loved eating his alfalfa. The paintings were an awesome experience in itself. The knowledge laden staff answered all of our questions and it's evident that animals are well cared for. They explained that they are looking to expand to Okapi soon, so we will definitely have to return to see them. 10/10 experience. Thank you, Noel, for the tour!

My husband and I celebrated milestone birthdays by enjoying family time in the Giraffe suite. The experience was marked by a warm welcome toast, feeding the giraffes and relaxing in the suite. The weekend weather was perfect for feeding the Fred the rhino, the giraffes and Bruno the sloth! Our guide Molly’s extensive knowledge and experience provided us a deep understanding of these animals along with their quirks and differences. I would highly recommend spending time at Longneck Manor and we will look forward to a return visit in the future!

This is an experience of a lifetime - staff is beyond wonderful. We stayed in the Giraffe Suite and it exceeded our expectations- we didn’t want to leave !

We visitors for my wife’s birthday trip and loved it. Spent two days with the giraffes🦒 and rhinos 🦏 They are such beautiful animals. Longneck Manor is clean and beautiful. The suites are amazing and the staff is great. Feeding the giraffes, painting with the giraffes and rhinos is truly a unique experience. I highly recommend if you want a different experience. The town of Fredericksburg has so much to offer as well. Great restaurants, shoppes and enough wine tasting to satisfy any wine lover. Great trip, great people, amazing experience for couples or families.

Beautiful location, I had a wonderful time here. We got to feel the giraffes, sloth, and pet a rhino too! The villas were absolutely beautiful too. Everyone was so friendly and informative. I recommend coming here for a safari like experience 😍

We visited for a private tour and it was the best animal experiences we have ever had. We were able to pet a Rhino, stand next to a sloth, feed Giraffes. Just an awesome experience we will remember forever! Thank you.

I have to say I did not stay at the hotel, but I did the tour they have with the giraffe's and rhino's which lasts about 1.5 hours. The tour was phenomenal. The tour size was just us and 2 other couples so it felt like a private tour. The guides were amazing, really knowledgeable about the animals they work with, and they clearly enjoy what they do. You get lots of quality time with rhino's and giraffes. Our rhino friend Frank let us pet him for a long time. Unfortunately the giraffes don't like to be pet, but we got to feed them for a long time and they were just so cool to see up close. After doing the tour we now want to book a weekend getaway here. It's a beautiful property and the people and animals were really perfect.

We had 2 really great tour guides for our experience, but Noel made my day by going above & beyond in a few different aspects. My partner & I had our anniversary on Sunday & made a visit here - it is affordable, educational &, such a fun & unique way to celebrate.

This was a surprise birthday present from my wife and we had such a good time. We got to interact/pet the rhinos and feed the giraffes. We had wonderful interactions w/animal care specialists, Reed and Leah, they were very knowledgeable about each species and were willing to answer any questions we had. This was a great experience for any animal lover!

So much fun! We came with 2 small kids, and had no issues. Our hosts were welcoming and entertaining. The tour seems straight-forward, but with the conversation, facts, laughs and feeding the giraffes; it felt like much more than just petting animals. I’ll keep recommending this place to others! The buildings are also so nice. Everything looks brand new and clean

This place is an amazing experience! You can tell that the entire staff cares about the giraffes and rhinos a lot. The whole facility is built with the animals in mind and it is a beautiful conservation place where you can have an up close experience with these incredible creatures! My family had an awesome visit which was made even better by our tour guides Leah and Samantha whose passions shined through when they spoke about the animals! They were hilarious and knew their stuff and as a bonus, they took so many pics for us while out there so we could have great memories to take with us! Seriously learned so much about the animals and got to feed them and even pet a rhino which was wild! Loved it! Even the gift shop is cute and the staff member Chloe was great in helping us get checked out. We met the owner and he was so nice and you can tell he loves what he does and the staff does too.
Definitely want to go back sometime!

AMAZING, INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!! This was an adventure I will never forget. Getting to touch the rhinos was out of this world and feeding the giraffes was such a fun time. I HIGHLY recommend this place. The staff are friendly, knowledge and really care for these animals.

This was such a magical experience. My husband surprised me with a trip here for our 16th Wedding Anniversary and it definitely didn't disappoint. The staff was beyond amazing, friendly and very welcoming.. This is an experience you will never forget.

This was an incredible experience I will never forget. Being able to be so close to the giraffes and Rhinos was amazing. I learned so much about preservation. The staff were kind and answered so many questions. We picked up some of the coffee at the end of our tour. If you are on the area 10/10, must see if you love animals or want to learn more!

My newly wed husband and myself were able to do a tour during our stay in Fredericksburg. We had an amazing time seeing the rhinos and giraffes, as well as learning about them. Noel and Val did an amazing job teaching and fielding any questions we had. If you have the chance to stop in for a tour, don’t hesitate just do it. Amazing people taking care of amazing animals!

I can’t say enough good things about this magical place! My husband and I spent the weekend there this past weekend and had the most amazing experience. Absolutely everyone we met was so friendly and accommodating and truly wanted us to have the best time interacting with and helping care for the animals. We loved feeding the giraffes every day (Betty White is my girl!), interacting with and feeding the rhinos (I now have a special love for Justin) and meeting Bruno the sloth. You can tell these people genuinely love what they do, and love sharing it with their guests. We stayed in the giraffe suite which was incredible, but we also got a peek at the new villas and WOW they are truly so nice and beautifully decorated with everything you’d need. The best piece of advice I can give you is book now! You won’t regret it.
