My husband and I recently had a wedding of about 65 here and it was magical from start to finish! Not only is the property breathtaking, but April and Erik are so helpful! They lended hands, advice, made friends with our entire family and so much more.I truly don’t think my wedding would have been the same without them. I highly recommend working with the Okerholms! 10/10 experience but google only lets me give 5 stars!

I have nothing but amazing things to say about not only this venue BUT the owners as well. The venue was GORGEOUS, from the open air chapel to the reception hall, the whole property. Erik and April were amazing to work with, and helped make our elopement private and beautiful! I can’t recommend them enough. We are definitely going to be back for any major event needed!

Where do I start? Great host made sure we had everything we needed. We stayed in the Dr. Okerholm Loghaus. The cabin was immaculately clean and the bed was so comfortable and cozy we instantly started shopping for new bedding! The stars at night were amazing with the added bonus of seeing The Milky Way. Was the perfect quiet getaway.

This venue was absolutely incredible! April and Erik are such wonderful owners and will do everything it takes to make your special occasion even better. The guest houses are stocked with all the basics you will need, the beds are comfy, and lovely! The suites for the wedding are like out of a fairy tail so wonderful. I wish I could get married again just to use this venue!!! Gorgeous!!

My wife and I recently had our wedding here and we could not be happier with how it was executed. April and Erik went above and beyond to host us at their gorgeous venue and to ensure that our dream came to fruition. As soon as we reached out to even ask about their venue, they’ve been nothing but helpful. During the planning process, they focused on every detail and helped us in ways we did not expect. On the day of the wedding, they were extremely attentive to not only us, but our guests as well. Everyone had an amazing time, the setup was breathtaking, and the execution was flawless. Thank you, April and Erik, for everything you have done for us. We will never forget our wedding day.

We stayed in an absolutely gorgeous cabin full of history. It was 200 years old. The beds was so so very comfy I wish I could take it home with mr. The shower was even amazing. It was definitely worth every penny. Even got to see some deer 🦌. The best part of Fredericksburg was our cabin. I definitely recommend this place.
