What makes it fun

Our flagship vineyard and tasting facility can be found only 8 miles east of Fredericksburg, just on Highway 290 in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. In this location, you will have access to a wide variety of wine and cuisine experiences, each of which is designed to cater to a specific degree of wine enthusiast. Come experience a lineup of our dry red wines ranging from our single varietal line to our high end selections as part of our $30 wine tastings, which are available seven days a week. Our staff pours all of the tastings at the bar, and in addition to providing an education on the background of Inwood Estates and the wine we make, they also provide information about the wine's history.

Came in with a decent sized group, and the staff was very warm and welcoming. The owner gave us a sampling of a port wine which was amazing (and strong). Great atompshere and lovely outdoor space. Would love to visit again in the future.

Inwood is a quaint and welcoming winery and bistro. Always welcoming when you arrive, these folks know their wines! Excellent Texas red wines and tasty bites. This is a hidden gem and a must stop winery on 290! It does not disappoint!

Had the best experience doing a tasting here with Mollie. It was like being shown incredible wines with a close friend. Mollie was kind, knowledgeable, and personable. The wines are fantastic, and you want to stay for the experience. We will most definitely be back for a tour!

Bold, Deep, Dark, Rich, and Luscious 100% Texas Grown Red Wines.

Fabulous salads and shareable grazing boards.

Gorgeous outdoor patio and shaded oak grove, w/a fire pit set up for cooler temps.

By far the best red wine tasting along the 290 Wine Trail, between Fredericksburg and Stonewall.

Superb Frederickburg winery! I've been to many and Inwood stands out.

The reds are superb, with the petit verdot, Magellan blend, and Magdalena blend topping off an impressive oeuvre.

Do no hesitate to make this a stop to taste then enjoy a glass of Magellan!

Looking for a bite after visiting the LBJ State Park and saw this winery, stid they had "great eats". The menu is limited and we had the chicken salad and a broccoli salad side. Both were very good and hit the spot. Then we did a wine tasting with Cathy. She was very informative and spent a good amount of time with us answering questions.
