Fabulous ambience-service-FOOD and bar!!If I could give 10-Stars I would.It starts with Fina who’s AWESOME, greets you at the door, making you feel very welcomed…setting the wonderful mood for your dining.Special restaurant, do not miss for any visit to FBG!

Long weekend get away.. the entire team at the Herb Garden restaurant, spa and cottage stay made for the perfect home away from home. The restaurant staff made it effortless to enjoy a great drinks and meal. The cottage private covered patio swing and rocking chairs made for a great place for morning coffee or evening drinks. The room had a great layout, fridge, excellent coffee & actual cream not powder. Big bathroom. Daily breakfast basket left at your door was a wonderful way to start the day.The spa staff and facilities were inviting and relaxing.The entire staff/team did a superior job. We will definitely be back.

My husband and I rented out the whole restaurant recently for a Night Before Dinner for about 80 people. All correspondence and preparations were done long distance. Summer, the events planner was excellent. She listened, made good notes, she also made good suggestions. It seems these days it is better to have low expectations, which we had when we showed up to decorate prior to the event.They exceeded our expectations! Brandon, the manager came out immediately (without our asking) and helped us bring in a car load of decor. All was setup beautifully in the restaurant exactly as requested. The waiters and waitresses were extremely professional and the guests even commented how nice and professional the staff were that evening. We are sorry we did not get all the staffs’ names. Robert, one of the waiters was so personable and helpful and was there as we were setting up the decor as well as serving our guests.Brandon and the whole staff bent over backwards. The food was delicious with great presentation. We couldn’t have been more pleased and we highly recommend The Herb Garden.

We absolutely loved our stay! We booked the Summer Getaway for Two and were very impressed with the atmosphere, service, and beauty of the property. And being close enough to downtown Fredericksburg is a huge plus. We’ll definitely be going back!One note: Please add a baby changing station in the bathrooms somewhere! I know you don’t suggest bringing children, but it would definitely be appreciated.

What a beautiful place! Unfortunately we only had one night in the Hill Country Herb Garden Cottage. Next time we would stay there longer. The cottage was cute and clean. The bed was comfortable, the room was air conditioned. The whole place was very cozy and quiet. The location is good, a few blocks from the main street. But it takes about 30 minutes to walk to the main street - better to take an Uber or car. It's the perfect location if you're looking for a nice, quiet place to stay.

We booked for 6/20/2024 until 6/22/2024. The first day at the restaurant my double bone pork chop was raw in the middle, the waiter advised they had no bourbon but I went to the bar myself to find several options, the restaurant didn't serve breakfast, and on the second day the restaurant was closed to us and other guest due to a wedding party that booked it. They should have let us know upon making the reservation that the restaurant was booked. They had one time slot available for a massage but not enough people to cover a couples massage and we were celebrating our 6th year Anniversary. I thought the location would have nice views but we were down from a trailer park in the middle of a neighborhood. It's a waist of money to go there due to food being mediocre, spa service being terrible, no breakfast options, and bad location. The only good thing is that the room was nice and romantic but that's it.

We had such a nice trip with friends to these cabins. You must try the restaurant on-site. The lattes are perfect and the eggs benedict was great and made the traditional way. We definitely will be back.

We went to Fredericksburg for a Sat wedding. These cottages are adorable. Small yet comfy. Bed and linens were very plush. Overhead fan, bedside lights, desk area all well thought out. Coffee bar and mini fridge were nice. Picnic basket with breakfast with yogurt, fruit, over night oats and fresh pastries. Communications with management was excellent. We arrived late and had a keyless entry upon arrival. Front porch has comfortable seats and a porch swing. We ate at the properties restaurant and it was fabulous. Only a few steps away. We stayed in Cabin #3 and will definitely be back.

The Herb Garden is a great change of pace from the typical hotel experience. It offers a very personalized experience and unique cottage accommodations. The daily breakfast basket was a nice surprise. The restaurant is a bit pricey, but the food, service and setting are great. Our daughter had her wedding reception here and the service and setting was perfect. My wife and I will definitely stay here again!

Fabulous Sunday Home Cottage. Loved the picnic basket breakfast. Slept so well in the bed vs a hotel. No more Hampton Inn when visiting Frederickburg- we are total fans.Magnolia Gift Shop has wonderful items for purchase.

This is an awesome place to stay. I loved everything about it. Will definitely stay here again. Also had a rehearsal dinner here for my granddaughters wedding during my stay. The food was phenomenal. You could cut the meat with a fork. Staff was excellent for the entire property.
