Gods country cabins are the place to go if you're in the Fredericksburg area!
The cabins are amazing, with beautiful rustic decor, and they are always clean and perfectly maintained.
Mike and Linda are great hosts and always go the extra mile to provide the best experience possible.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Mercy cabin. Great location away from all the hustle and bustle of Fredericksburg, but close enough you can drive in several times a day. Met Mike the owner and had a nice visit with him. Perfect for wildlife and sunset watching.

Great location, convenient to town yet quiet. Hosts were very helpful and very friendly. Cabin was comfortable, cozy, clean, and well-furnished. Have stayed here over a dozen times and experience is consistent. Good price/value in the Fredericksburg area.

My (adult) son and I spent a night here and it was wonderful! It’s the perfect Hill Country escape 5 minutes from Fredericksburg. Peaceful. Serene. Lovely cabin. Amazing bed and pillows and couch. It is beyond comfortable! 5 Star accommodation 💯

My husband and I stayed in the Hope Cabin for our 5th Wedding Anniversary/Babymoon September 2023, and it was everything we'd hoped for and more! It was quaint, very clean, had the feeling of home, close to Fredericksburg but far enough in the country for peace and quiet! We were greeted out front by a friendly heard of deer, and inside with freshly baked oatmeal cookies, that were delicious. The extra perks of the Hope Cabin is the stargazing patio and outdoor shower. We enjoyed the nighttime sounds of the country while stargazing in the evenings, and my husband did his morning workouts on the patio then really enjoyed the outdoor shower afterwards. We stayed two nights, getting in late afternoon on our first night, and wish we would have stayed three nights.... therefore, my only recommendation for travelers is to allow for at least 2 full days, if not 3, to truly explore all that Fredericksburg has to offer. I am a travel agent/owner of Part of My World Travels; I can't wait to share my love for these cabins to all my current and future clients wanting a peaceful and fun getaway to Texas' Wine Country!

I gotta say for being our 1st ever getaway it was perfect. I surprised my husband as we were celebrating our 25th anniversary. We were in awe in how homey and peaceful this place is. We stayed at the Hope cabin and it was amazing. It was well equipped from having bbq utensils, bath robes (for when using outside shower 😉), coffee mugs -plates- wine glasses for 2 and more. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the morning drinking coffee that was provided as well as sitting outside in the back star gazing. I highly recommend this little peace of heaven if your needing some alone time with the spouse. Can't wait to reserve again for another amazing experience. Before I forget to mention we also had deer , cow's, and a humming bird come out to say howdy 👋.

LOVED the location!!! The peace and quiet was amazing. The stars at night from the back deck was spectacular. There was much thought and meaning to the decorations. The bed was comfortable so we slept great. Loved having a full size refrigerator and we used the outdoor grill. Even though it was super hot outside there was always a breeze which still made it great for sitting outside. The cows and deer entertained as did the raccoons that we surprised our first night sitting outside. And the outdoor shower was an added bonus. We will for sure be coming back and staying in the HOPE cabin!

Honestly had the best experience! We celebrated our 7 year anniversary out here. The cabin was beautiful, cookies delicious, and so close to town as well. Loved sitting outside drinking the coffee enjoying the view. Very peaceful and quiet. We’ll definitely be back in the future! Thanks for hosting us!
