This was a wonderful afternoon in the Fredericksburg area for our anniversary. Covington Cellars was our last stop and we are so glad we stopped by. The wine is wonderful, Lauren was very hospitable and helped us make great choices. It was a little too warm for outdoors today, but we'll be back in the fall and try outdoor seating and wine next time.

Stephanie was beyond great! She took her time to accommodate a move that she did not have to! She answered any questions our party had.This was my first time to this winery and i loved the openness. Cannot until it cool down to have wine on the patio!I also really enjoyed the spinach artichoke dip, it had little kick that I appreciated! 10/10 would recommend!

Wonderful new winery for Fredericksburg. Old school Washington State winery now in TX. Amazing single varietals and TX / WA blends. Well worth the visit. Pamela Mason, the tasting and events host, is wonderful.

Covington Hill Country is one of the best wine tasting experiences on 290 between Johnson City and Fredericksburg, TX. Some of the wines are 100% Texas wines, some are from Washington State, and some blend grapes sourced from both locations. We had 2 reserve tastings and a couple of appetizers (spinach artichoke dip and bruschetta), and everything was perfect. We left with 6 bottles of wine! The best part was that every single staff member came by our table and spoke to us while we were there, including Cindy, one of the owners. What a great experience!

My absolute favorite stop on our trip! The owners, David and Cindy are the nicest people! Their staff is truly amazing and they all went out of their way for us! We were staying near by in our rv and were going to Uber downtown and they let us hitch a ride as they were headed there as well! The wine is truly delicious and they are very knowledgeable! I wish I could rate this place with all the stars because they deserve it in every aspect!!

We are members of multiple wineries in the hill country and were excited to try a new one. This is by far one of the best experiences we have ever had. The wine is incredible. The customer service is superb. The view is magnificent. Highly, highly recommend.

Don’t miss this winery -What an incredible surprise! We love to plan trips around wine venues -and are members of several California, WA and TX wineries. Without a doubt Covington has some of the best wines we have tasted in those regions and they are only an hour from our house. A major plus is the owner Cindy and manager Wendy -they made us feel like we were visiting in their living room. So knowledgeable, friendly and fun !! Of course we joined the wine club and looking forward to pickupParties and wine dinners
