We visited the establishment on a Saturday evening and were fortunate to be seated almost immediately. Our placement in the cocktail lounge area allowed us to enjoy a private atmosphere, which was quite pleasant.I would rate this venue 4 stars, primarily due to the attentive service provided by our waitress, Sarah. Her promptness in replenishing our cocktails and addressing our menu inquiries greatly facilitated our decision-making process, especially given the frequent updates to the menu.However, we did experience extended wait times; the Helotes Dip took over 30 minutes to arrive, and the dozen oysters took nearly an hour. This felt excessive, particularly as the oysters were not accompanied by crackers. After almost two hours, our steak sandwiches were served. While they were decent, they could have been more tender.Despite the prolonged wait, the cocktails were outstanding, and the bottle of Chianti recommended by our waitress complemented the flavors of the steak sandwiches beautifully, all at a reasonable price. We look forward to returning for our next family night.

This is a must stop spot in Fbg. Farm to table. Ingredients are as good as it gets. I like my steak cooked to perfection and they nailed the rare plus steak frites on the head. Enjoyed the ceasar sales and the fresh oysters and coupe glasses of ChiantiSarah knew the menu inside and out and her recommendations were on point.10 out of 10.Say hello to chase he is usually there. And ask for a shot of Farmet at the enjoy of dinner. Def settled the belly and gives you the good food feeling of a meal well deserved.

Food was definitely mediocre …. Way over priced . Trying to pass off for a high end restaurant with Macdonald quality meals ..let me add too to it .. food was cold and bland .. I don’t think the ingredients were too blame

Chase's place has solid vibes and great food. We had dinner pretty late in the evening and enjoyed the laid back atmosphere.

I sell this place to anyone and everyone that mentions to me they are visiting Fredericksburg soon.While their menu is seasonal, you are sure to enjoy the variety of well prepared, flavorful dishes. Personally, I visited a couple years ago and just realized I had not posted a review. At the time, Chase had coffee coated lamb lollipops with a smear of whipped sweet potatoes. The appetizer was so delicious, we ended up ordering 3 of them and just had that as our dinner. I look forward to my next trip to town and have a culinary adventure exploring What Chase may have to offer.

I'm a local. Trust me. This is the best food in Fredericksburg. I've lived here seven years now (and I've been a foodie for way longer than that), and we have more restaurants per-capita than New Orleans (I did the math), and so I totally regret that I have not tried Chase's Place before last night.I mistakenly thought this was mostly a bar (I'm a beer guy and my wife and her friends are not drinkers at all), but... get this... this is my new favorite restaurant in this hemisphere.I came by this belly honestly. I know good food. I've eaten in a lot of great restaurants around the world, and I can say this is one of he best meals I've ever had EVER. Their chef, Sheldon, is an absolute rock star. He's imported from swanky up-east, but he comes across as down-home New Orleans. Forget the photos of the small plates on their site. Yes, we over-splurged, but come in hungry. This food is life-changing.

Seriously one of the best meals I’ve had in a while. I started with a gin, elderflower and grapefruit cocktail that had perfect amount of spirit, flavor and presentation.I ordered the Chicken Marsala; all ingredients were fresh, flavorful and in bounty. Finished with the nitro brew espresso martini. Service was prompt, atmosphere was lovely. I wish I lived closer because I would be a regular here!

We shared the brussel sprouts and they were so good. I enjoyed the mac and cheese with the steak tips. We sat outside and enjoyed it.

This is a hidden gem. Loved my time relaxing in the outdoor area. Great service. The Braised Beef Poutine is divine.... Will definitely come vack.

My mom and I came to visit Fredericksburg the other day. We had heard good things about this place and made a reservation for our first night and it didn’t disappoint. So much to the point where we canceled our reservation somewhere else the next night and made another one for Chase’s Place. Cocktails are the best, but food is awesome as well.

Small place so get there early. The food is great. A bit pricey but worth it. Ribeye steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned, as was the potatoes and Asparagus. My wife had the Scallops and they were perfectly cooked and flavorful as well. The cheesecake brownie dessert was to die for if your a chocolate lover. You won’t be disappointed if you try this place.

Great stop while staying here for tomorrow’s wine experience in the area. Nice, fancy feel inside with simple picnic feel outside. Bar staff are like artists and the drinks are all unique and delicious. We ordered the specials off menu and beyond amazing flavors. The owner stands out as very involved and service dedicated. Our server was nice and attentive but something’s were a bit slow. The place was very busy on a Presidents’ Day weekend explaining the slightly slower arrival of some drink items. If here make this place a stop but arrive early to avoid the wait.
