Augusta Vin aims to redefine Texas Hill Country winery standards. We strive to wow you with our excellent service, rich landscapes, and stunning vistas. With this atmosphere and a great wine selection, we hope to always leave you dreaming of your next visit to Augusta Vin. We had our first guests in fall 2019, but the land has a lengthy history. The Klein family, one of Fredericksburg's founding families, lived here in the mid-1800s, followed by the Schmidt family in the late 1800s and early 1900s. Our vineyard will honor the families by restoring and maintaining a historical focal point. Our 2-story timber-framed tasting area offers stunning vineyard views and a peaceful spot to learn about and enjoy our extensive wine list. Come explore the land's history and our vision for the future.

The tasting room itself is nice, with a peacful atmosphere that made for a great setting. Unfortunately, the wine tasting experience fell short. While other guests seemed to receive attentive and friendly service, we felt neglected. The server was noticeably more engaged with other groups and didn’t provide the same level of attention or care to our experience. It was disappointing, as we were really looking forward to enjoying the full experience.The wines were good, but the poor service left us feeling overlooked. With better attention to customer service, this place could be outstanding

Cant rave enough about this place. Wines were delicious, atmosphere is so beautiful, and our server Angela was so informative she gave us the perfect amount of attention and all of her recommendations suited us perfectly. Ask for her as your server if possible and you won’t be disappointed.

Alex was AMAZING!!! Augusta Vin was one of the last stops we were going to make on our trip, and I’m sooo happy we did! We did the grand tour and fortunately for us we were the only ones; so it was like a private tour. Alex was very friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. He was open to answering our questions and was great at taking pictures. This was the best stop we made in Fredericksburg, and would definitely recommend.

We did the Grand Tour and it was phenomenal!!! Wine tasting and food pairings for each in a private setting!!! Our tour guide is Alex from England. Alex was sooooo educational and inspiring. He was so knowledgeable about the entire process! Getting to smell the barrels was a show stopper!

Me and some friend had the pleasure of visiting Augusta Vineyard, and it was truly an exceptional experience. Alex, our wine guide, was not only incredibly friendly but also exceptionally patient. The tour felt personalized and efficient, taking us straight to the point. I couldn’t have asked for a better guide or a more enjoyable wine tour. If you’re looking for a memorable wine experience, I highly recommend Augusta Vineyard and their outstanding staff.

Had a group of four take the wine pairing/ vineyard tour on 10/22/2023. We had a really wonderful experience! Alex, our tour guide was knowledgeable and very accommodating. After our tour, we sat at the tasting room bar and enjoyed an additional tasting coupled with a beautiful charcuterie board. Marshall, the manager, was also very friendly, knowledgeable, and fun to talk to. I’d highly recommend this vineyard when touring Texas Wine Country!

We came out to celebrate my Sister-in-Law’s birthday. I booked a wine and food pairing with vineyard tour. Our tour guide and host Westin was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable in all aspects of production of the wine and the wine itself. She honestly made the tour. We could ask questions and brought joy and humor. Not a boring tour at all. I highly recommend her. A sweetheart of a host. 🥰
